​Federico Giusfredi is an orientalist. He studies philology, history and the languages of the pre-classical Ancient Near East. From 2007 to 2014 he worked at the DFG project Hethitisches Wörterbuch (LMU, Munich). From 2015 to 2017 he was Marie Curie Fellow at the Verona University, where, in December 2017, he was appointed associate professor and PI of the ERC project PALaC ("Pre-classical Anatolian languages in Contact").
